We're in the Same Shoes

"We're in the Same Shoes" is an ongoing photographic series that merges my roles as a photographer and traveler, exploring themes of solitude, self-reflection, and connection to the spaces I inhabit. Capturing self-portraits that focus on my feet whether walking or sitting alone I invite viewers into a meditative dialogue with the places I cherish.

This series embodies my internal conversations, moments of stillness, and the rhythm of movement. It reveals how our feet carry us through life's journeys, both literal and metaphorical, weaving stories of discovery and belonging. The tranquil settings I choose are not mere backdrops but active participants in the narrative spaces of peace, resonance, and identity.

As a traveler, my lens frames these moments as intimate exchanges with the world around me. These images speak to the universal experience of seeking connection between self and surroundings, movement and pause, past and present.

Through this series, I invite viewers to step into my shoes, reflecting on their own journeys, and perhaps discovering that in our shared humanity, "we are in the same shoes."
