The National College of Arts (NCA) marked its glorious 150th year with Pakistan’s first-ever Triennale an event envisioned and realized by its alumni, alongside teachers and students. On the invitation of the Department of Multimedia, NCA, I was entrusted with the art direction, ambiance, concept, and execution of a series of transparent printed curtains. Installed in the college’s main courtyard, these works carried the memories of the legendary principals of the Mayo School of Arts, later known as NCA. The rest of the campus was transformed through images honoring renowned architects, designers, artists, and academicians associated with the institution. The imagery was developed using AI and printed in Lahore. Being part of the NCA Triennale 2025 was an enriching experience—one that contributed to creating a lasting visual memory for millions of visitors who passed through the campus throughout the month of November.
